İsmail Güvenç (d. 1964) Rektör, Akademisyen.
Atatürk Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi ve Anadolu Üniversitesi İşletme Fakültesi lisans mezunudur. Atatürk Üniversitesinde 1987-1994 yılları arasında araştırma görevlisi olarak çalıştı. 1994 yılında Atatürk Üniversitesinde yardımcı doçent kadrosuna atandı. 1996 yılında doçentlik unvanını, 2003 yılında profesör unvanını kazandı. 2004-2008 yılları arasında bölüm başkanlığı ve müdür yardımcılığı gibi görevlerde bulundu. Akademik hayatına Erciyes Üniversitesi'nde profesör olarak devam etti.[1]
Meslek hayatı boyunca çok sayıda ulusal ve uluslararası kongrelere bildirili olarak katıldı. Bir kısmı uluslararası ulusal hakemli dergilerde yayınlanmış, 80 civarında bilimsel yayın yaptı. 2008 yılında Kilis 7 Aralık Üniversitesi Rektörlüğüne atandı. 2008 -2012 yılında rektörlük görevini yürüten İsmail Güvenç, 2012 yılında yeniden Kilis 7 Aralık Üniversitesi Rektörlüğüne atandı. Halen Kilis 7 Aralık Üniversitesi Rektörü olarak görevini sürdürmektedir.[2]
