Apate, Yunan mitolojisinde, "hile"nin tecessümü ve tanrıçası. Nyx'in (Gece) kızıdır. Pandora'nın kutusundaki ruhlardan biriydi. Roma mitolojisinde ona Fraus denilirdi.
