Caterpie (キャタピー (Kyatapī), Japonca versiyonlarda) 493 hayalî Pokémon türünden biridir. Bir böcek Pokémonu olan Caterpie, evrimin ilk aşamasındadır. Aynı zamanda ilk nesil Pokémonlarından biridir. Caterpie gelişince Metapod olur daha sonra da Butterfree olur.
