David Hasselhoff (17 Temmuz 1952, Baltimore), Alman asıllı ABD'li aktör ve şarkıcı. Kara Şimşek (Knight Rider) dizisinde Michael Knight rolünü canlandırdı, Sahil Güvenlik (Baywatch) gibi televizyon dizilerinde başrol aldı. Aktör 2002 yılında alkol bağımlılığı problemi nedeniyle ünlü bir tedavi merkezinde rehabilitasyon gördü, 1984 yılında aktris ve şarkıcı Catherine Hickland ile evlenen aktör 1989'da boşandı ve aynı yıl Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff ile evlendi. Eşiyle 2006 yılında boşanan aktörün bu evlilikten iki çocuğu vardır. Beş kardeş arasında ikinci sırada olan aktör 2006 yılında başlayan America's Got Talent (Amerika Yeteneğini Arıyor) yarışmasında 2006 - 2009 yılları arası jüri arasında oldu. Aktörün boyu: 1,93 metre.
Don Johnson ve Philip Michael Thomas ile çocukluk arkadaşıdır.[2][3]
Hasselhoff'un ailesi Alman, İrlandalı ve İngiliz asıllı Katoliktir.[4][5] Büyük-büyük-büyükannesi Meta, 1865 yılında Almanya'da, Bremen'den, 30 kilometre (19 mil), mesafedeki Völkersen'den Baltimore'a ailesiyle birlikte göç etmiştir.[6] David Hasselhoff Almanca bilmemektedir.
