Gilbert Thomas Burnett

Gilbert Thomas Burnett (d. 15 Nisan 1800 – ö. 27 Temmuz 1835), Britanyalı botanikçi.

Burnett, 1831-1835 yılları arasında King's College London'ın ilk botanik profesörü oldu. Outlines of Botany (1835) ve ölümünden sonra kız kardeşi M. A. Burnett'in resimlediği Illustrations of Useful Plants employed in the Arts and Medicine adlı eserlerin yazarıydı. Ayrıca zooloji ile ilgili makaleler de yazdı, örneğin "Illustrations of the Manupeda or apes and their allies" (1828).
