James Kottak (d. 26 Aralık 1962 Louisville, Kentucky) ABD'li davulcu ve hard rock grubu Scorpions'ın 1996'dan beri üyesi. 22 Ağustos 2008 Scorpions Türkiye konserinde bir davul solosunun ardından bütün grupla bir perküsyon şovu yapmıştır.
Scorpions'dan önce Kottak, Kingdom Come, Warrant, Wild Horses, Montrose, the McAuley Schenker Group ve Buster Brown'da davul çalmıştır.
