James Broadbent (d. 24 Mayıs 1949) Oscar, BAFTA ve Altın Küre ödülü sahibi İngiliz oyuncu.
1999 yılında Topsy-Turvy filmiyle Venedik Film Festivali'nde En İyi Aktör'e verilen Volpi Kupasını (Volpi Cup) kazandı. 2001 yılında Iris Murdoch'ın yaşam öyküsüne dayanan Iris'te yazarın eşi John Bayley rolüyle En İyi Yardımcı Erkek Oyuncu Oscar'ını kazandı.
Longford filmiyle BAFTA TV Ödülleri'nde En İyi Aktör ödülünü kazandı. Bu televizyon filmindeki rolüyle 2007 yılında Emmy'ye aday gösterildi. Altın Küre'ye ödülü kazandı. 17 Eylül 2007'de 6. Harry Potter filmi olan Harry Potter ve Melez Prens'de Profesör Horace Slughorn'u canlandıracağı açıklandı.[1]
