Kurban anot, katodik korumada korunacak metal parçası soymetal olmayan Mg, Zn ve Al gibi elektriği ileten anot metalle kaynatılır (yani temas ettirilir). Bu anot metaline kurban anot denir ve zamanla çözünür.
