Nappy Roots Amerikalı alternatif Southern rap dörtlüsü. 1995'te Bowling Green, Kentucky'de kurulan grubun en popüler şarkıları "Po' Folks", "Awnaw", "Roun' The Globe" ve "Good Day"dir. 2002'nin en çok satan müzik grubudur.[1] Grup şu an Fish Scales, Skinny DeVille, B. Stille ve Ron Clutch'tan oluşmaktadır.

2006'da R. Prophet, 2012'de de Big V diğer adıyla Vito Banga gruptan ayrılmıştır. Her ikisi de solo kariyerlerine devam etmektedir.[2][3]
