Ovipar bir hayvan üreme çeşididir. Bu üreme türünde hayvanlar iç döllenme yaparlar, ancak gelişme kabuklu yumurta içerisinde olur. Kuşlar, balıklar ve bazı sürüngenlerde görülür.
