Plütonyum-239, Plütonyum izotopudur. Plütonyum-239 bir seferde üç parçaya ayrılabilir, Nükleer silah üretiminde ve nükleer santrallerde enerji kaynağı olarak kullanılır. Diğer bölünebilir izotoplar Uranyum-235 ve Uranyum-233'dür.
