Sekretuvar dönem

Sekretuvar dönem ya da luteal faz insanlarda ve büyük insansı maymunlarda âdetin son dönemi ya da diğer plasentalı memelilerde östrusun erken dönemlerinden biridir. Sarı cisim oluşumu ile başlar veya gebelik ile ya da luteoliz ile sonlanır. Bu dönem ile ilgili ana hormon, diğer dönemlere nazaran sekretuvar dönemde önemli derecede yüksek değerlerde olan progesterondur.[1]
