Konu

Başarılı bir boksör olan Billy Hope (Jake Gyllenhaal), karısı Maureen (Rachel McAdams) ve kızı Leila (Oona Laurence) ile mutlu bir hayat sürmektedir. Ancak trajik bir kaza sonucu karısını kaybeder ve kızının velayeti elinden alınır. Billy hayatını geri kazanmak için eski bir boksör olan Tick'den (Forest Whitaker) yardım ister.

Filmin müzikleri James Horner tarafından bestelendi. Son Şans, 22 Haziran 2015'te hayatını kaybeden Horner'ın müziklerini bestelediği son filmi oldu.[14] Filmin, prodüktörlüğünü Eminem'in üstlendiği soundtrack albümü 24 Temmuz 2015'te Shady Records aracılığıyla piyasaya çıktı.[15]
