Success Is Certain, rapçi Royce da 5'9"'ın beşinci stüdyo albümüdür. 9 Ağustos 2011'de Gracie Productions'dan yayınlandı.

Genel

Albüm kapağı ve parça listesi 4 Temmuz 2011'de duyuruldu. Aynı gün albüm ön siparişe açıldı.[1] Albümün prodüktörlüğünü DJ Premier, Mr. Porter, Eminem, Nottz, StreetRunner, The Futuristiks ve The Alchemist üstlendi.[2] Konuk sanatçılar arasında Eminem, Joe Budden, Kid Vishis ve Travis Barker yer aldı.

Single'lar

"Writer's Block", albümün ilk single'ı olarak Mart 2011'de iTunes Store'da satışa çıktı.[3] Eminem, şarkının nakaratını seslendirdi. Bu şarkı için bir araya gelen ikili, daha sonra Hell: The Sequel adlı bir EP hazırladılar.[4] Şarkı için bir video klip de çekildi.

İkinci single "Second Place", Haziran'da piyasaya çıktı.[5][6] Altyapısı DJ Premier'e ait olan parçada Raekwon ve Method Man'in de yer almalarının planlandığı yönünde söylentiler vardı. Ancak bunun doğru olmadığı ortaya çıktı.[7]

"Legendary", üçüncü ve son single olarak Temmuz'da yayınlandı.[8] Prodüktörlüğünü Eminem'in üstlendiği parçada Royce'a davulda Travis Barker eşlik etti.

Liste performansı

Albüm, piyasaya çıktığı hafta 16 bin sattı ve Billboard 200 listesine 25. sıradan girdi.[9] 20 Mart 2012 itibarıyla, Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'nde 43.500'lük satış rakamına ulaştı.
