Telltale isminin Türkçe anlamı "Masal anlat" olan bu firma macera türünde oyunlar yaparak ün kazanmıştır. Haziran 2004'te kurulan San Rafael, California merkezli firma Lucas Arts'ta daha önce çalışmış birçok yapımcıyı da bünyesinde bulundurmaktadır.[2]

2012 yılında piyasaya sürdüğü The Walking Dead video oyunu 80'den fazla ödül almıştır ve birçok site tarafından "Game of the Year" yani yılın oyunu seçilmiştir.

En başarılı yapımları arasında Sam & Max, Homestar Runner, Monkey Island, Back to the Future, Jurassic Park, The Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Tales from the Borderlands ve The Wolf Among Us vardır.
