Tube Bar telefon şakaları
Tube Bar telefon şakaları, bir dizi efsanevi[1] telefon şakasıdır.[2] 1970'lerde yapılan bu şakalarda John Elmo ve Jim Davidson Jersey City'deki Tube Bar'a defalarca telefon ederek, mekânın sahibine, verdikleri isimdeki müşteriyle konuşmak istediklerini söyler. Verilen isimler başka ve genellikle saldırgan tabirlerin söylenişiyle aynıdır. Bu aramaların kayıtları teyplerde çalınarak yayıldı ve Simpsonlar'daki sürekli tekrarlanan şakalara ilham verdi.[2]
