Astropecten polyacanthus, Astropectinidae familyasından bir denizyıldızı türüdür. Hint ve Pasifik Okyanusu'nda yaşar. Kol uzunluğu 20 cm. civarındadır. Epiteti olan polyacanthus Latince "çok dikenli" demektir. Üst kısmı koyu mor, alt kısmı da turuncu renklidir.
