Alania Yaklaşık sonra Çerkesya, günümüzde ise Kuzey Osetya-Alanya'nın yerini aldığı Kuzey Kafkasya'da kurulmuş, Alanların orta çağ krallığı.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] 8. ya da 9. yüzyılda kurulmuş, 1238-39 yıllarında Moğol istilası ile yıkılmıştır. Başkenti Maghas'tır. Darial Geçidi'nden geçen İpek Yolu'nu kontrol ederdi.
