Bu sayfa, herhangi bir dilde en çok satan kurgu yazarlarının listesini sağlar. Herhangi bir yazar için kesin bir sayı neredeyse imkansız iken, liste güvenilir kaynaklardan sağlanan veya güvenilir kaynaklarca tekrarlanan yaklaşık sayılara dayanmaktadır. "En çok satan" bir yazar tarafından yazılan tek ya da tüm kurgu kitaplarının tahmini satış sayısını ifade eder. Listeyi fazla uzun tutmamak için, en az 100 milyon tahmini satışı olan yazarlar dahil edilmiştir. Çizgi roman yazarları dahil değildir.

Miguel de Cervantes, Alexandre Dumas Pere, Charles Dickens (sadece İki Şehrin Hikayesi 200 milyon kopya sattı.[1]), Jane Austen, Jack Higgins, Victor Hugo, Jules Verne ve Leon Uris dahil olmak üzere bazı yazarlar için baskı işlerinin 100 milyon kopyadan fazla olduğuna dair göstergeler olmasına rağmen, kesin bir rakam bulunamadığından listeye dahil edilmemiştir.
