Otozomlar
Otozomlar, eşey kromozomu olmayan kromozom grubudur. Türlerde çift halinde bulunurlar. X ve Y kromozomları otozomal kromozomlardan değillerdir. Genellikle eşey kromozomları, gonozomlar, allozomlar ve heterozomlar aynı anlamda kullanılırlar, bunların zıttı olan otozom kromozomlardır.
İnsan vücudunda 23 çift kromozom bulunur (22 çift otozom, 1 çift gonozom).
