Şarkıcıların takma isimleri listesi, ses sanatçılarına takılan lakapların listelendiği bir maddedir. Takma isimler, dinsel, ailevi ya da aristokratik unvanlardan seçilir. Bu lakaplar sanatçının medya tarafından ifade edilmesinde kullanılır ve sanatçının hayranları için değerini gösterir. Takma adlar Avrupa'da ilk olarak 19. yüzyılda klasik müzik sanatçıları için kullanılmıştır. Bu bağlamda Mozart'a "modern müziğin babası", Bach'a ise "modern piyano müziğinin babası" denilmiştir.[1]

Afro-Amerikan kültürün bir ürünü olan Jazz ve Swing'in popülerleştiği 1930-40'larda öne çıkan Paul Whiteman "Jazz'ın Kralı" ve Benny Goodman ise "Swing'in Kralı" olarak anılmaya başlandı.[2]

1950'lerde ise Rock and Roll popülerleşmeye başlamıştır. Bu dönemde halkın ihtiyaçlarına cevap veren ve bu müziği en iyi icra eden işi olan Elvis Presley de "Rock and Roll'un Kralı" olarak adlandırılmıştır.[3][4]

Diğer türlerde ise Aretha Franklin "Soul'un Kraliçesi"[5], Michael Jackson "Pop'un Kralı"[6][7] olarak tüm dünyada tanınmaktadır.

Türkiye'de ise Türk sanat müziğinin önemli isimlerin kabul edilen Zeki Müren "Sanat Güneşi"[8], Müzeyyen Senar ise "Cumhuriyetin Divası"[9] olarak tanınmaktadır. 1990'lı yıllarda yaşadığı çıkışla ünlenen Tarkan ise "Boğazın Prensi"[10] ve "Megastar"[11] olarak bilinmektedir.
