90482 Orcus (geçici adı 2004 DW 'tür) Kaliforniya Teknoloji Enstitüsü'nden Michael Brown, Gemini Gözlemevi'nden Chad Trujillo ve Yale Üniversitesi'nden David Rabinowitz tarafından 17 Şubat 2004 tarihinde keşfedilen bir Kuiper kuşağı gök cismidir.[3] Uluslararası Astronomi Birliği'nin adlandırma ilkelerine göre Plüton'a benzer büyüklükte olan ve yakın yörüngelere sahip olan gök cisimleri yeraltı dünyasının tanrılarından seçilerek adlandırılmaktadır. Buna uygun olarak gök cismini keşfedenler Roma mitolojisi'nde ölülerin bir tanrısı olan Orcus'un adını önermiş ve 22 Kasım 2004'te bu isim onaylanmıştır.
